Technology advanced drastically with the invention of movable type—suddenly books were affordable. Then we wanted to listen to books in our cars. The answer was books on tape and then books on CDs. Unfortunately, new cars no longer have the players in them. So, what options do we have? We'll look at both free and paid alternatives. Our public library has many options, but there are also other resources.
This course will cover the basics of digital media (podcasts, ebooks, and audio books), how to find interesting content, and how to listen to it or read it. Bring your phone with you! We will not be covering Facebook, Instagram or other social media.
