In some ways, Canasta has elements of Mahjongg and Bridge, but easier to learn! Canasta can be played two, three or four. It’s best played as a partnership game (4 people).
Canasta uses two regular decks of cards, including the jokers. Each player is dealt eleven cards. Players sitting across from each other are partners.
It’s not difficult to learn and we have good teachers to those who want to learn!

The version of Mah Jongg that we will be playing is the American version. We will use the National Mah Jongg League official standard hands and rules. It is a game similar to Rummy, but it is played with tiles instead of cards.
